THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO INVESTIGATE, DOCUMENT AND REPORT INCIDENTS OF ANTI-SEMITISM THAT OCCUR IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN AMERICA AND TO EDUCATE THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT SUCH INCIDENTS AND OTHER MANIFESTATIONS OF HARASSMENT AND INTIMIDATION OF JEWISH STUDENTS ON COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES, AS WELL AS TO ORGANIZE, UNDERTAKE AND SUPPORT EFFORTS TO COMBAT AND REMEDY ANTI-JEWISH BIGOTRY AND ANY ACTIVITIES RELATIONS THERETO.

INVESTIGATING: PUBLICATION OF A GROUNDBREAKING, MUCH-CITED REPORT ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF ANTI-ZIONIST FACULTY AND ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS TO CAMPUS ANTISEMITISM, AND PREPARING A SOON-TO-BE-RELEASED REPORT ON THE RAPIDLY INCREASING ASSAULT ON JEWISH IDENTITY ON CAMPUSES NATIONWIDE AND ITS DIRE CONSEQUENCES FOR THE JEWISH COMMUNITY; DOCUMENTING: CRUCIAL, ON-GOING, REAL-TIME DOCUMENTATION IN OUR PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE DATABASE OF ANTISEMITIC INCIDENTS ON OVER 400 U.S. CAMPUSES, WHICH SAW ENORMOUS INCREASES DURING THIS GRANT PERIOD;EDUCATING: DISSEMINATING AMCHA'S IMPORTANT INFORMATION ANALYSES AND APPROACHES TO COMBATTING CAMPUS ANTISEMITISM AND RALLY SUPPORT FOR AMCHA'S EFFORTS THROUGH HUNDREDS OF ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS IN DOZENS OF OUTLETS AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA, NUMEROUS TARGETED OP-EDS, AND MORE THAN 30 BULLETINS;COMBATING: SUSTAINED GRASSROOTS, COALITIONS AND MEDIA CAMPAIGNS THAT INCLUDED: EDUCATING ABOUT THE HARMS OF A CRITICAL ETHNIC STUDIES BILL AND SUCCESSFULLY HALTING A PROPOSED UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA CRITICAL ETHNIC STUDIES ADMISSION REQUIREMENT; FIGHTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ACADEMIC BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL AT VIRGINIA TECH AND IN VIRGINIA PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES MORE BROADLY; URGING UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TO ADOPT POLICIES TO ENSURE THE EQUAL AND ADEQUATE PROTECTION OF JEWISH AND ZIONIST STUDENTS THAT SUCCESSFULLY RESULTED IN USCS TASKFORCE ON JEWISH LIFE CALLING FOR THE ADOPTION OF OUR RECOMMENDATION; AND PUSHING BACK AGAINST THE MIDDLE EAST STUDIES ASSOCIATIONS ADOPTION OF AN ACADEMIC BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL AND AGAINST ACADEMIC BDS MORE BROADLY BY URGING MESAS INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS TO REVOKE THEIR MEMBERSHIP AND GUARANTEE FACULTY AT THEIR SCHOOLS WILL NOT IMPLEMENT AN ACADEMIC BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL, AS WELL AS BY PETITIONING THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO CONDITION THE FEDERAL FUNDING OF MIDDLE EAST STUDIES PROGRAMS ON THE GUARANTEE THAT NO FACULTY MEMBER IN THEIR FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAM WILL IMPLEMENT AN ACADEMIC BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL ON THEIR CAMPUS.
