THE ORGANIZATION WAS GRANTED A CHARTER BY THE ORLEANS PARISH SCHOOL BOARD AND APPROVED BY THE STATE BOARD OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION TO OPERATE TWO ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, ALICE M. HARTE ELEMENTARY, MCDONOUGH 42 ELEMENTARY AND TWO HIGH SCHOOLS, EDNA KARR SENIOR HIGH AND MCDONOUGH 35 SENIOR HIGH, THREE CHARTER SCHOOLS, ANDREW WILSON, PIERRE CAPDAU AND DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, AND ONE SECONDARY SCHOOL ELEANOR MCMAIN IN NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA. THE CHARTERS ARE EFFECTIVE FOR VARIOUS YEARS EXPIRING JUNE 30, 2021 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2028.
