OUT OF SCHOOL TIME COLLABORATIVE: TURN THE PAGE KC WORKED WITH SEVERAL PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS IN KANSAS CITY TO PROVIDE INPERSON LEARNING SITES FOR 1,000 STUDENTS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR IN ORDER TO SERVE STUDENTS ENROLLED IN SCHOOLS CLOSED DUE TO COVID19.


INCLUSIVE BOOKS INITIATIVE: TURN THE PAGE KC DISTRIBUTED THOUSANDS OF DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE BOOKS TO CHILDREN IN KANSAS CITY THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS.


SCHOOL ATTENDANCE PROGRAM: TURN THE PAGE KC PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING TO BUILDING ADMINISTRATORS IN THE HICKMAN MILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE CENTER SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND THE KANSAS CITY, KS SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS TRAINING PROVIDED BUILDING LEVEL ADMINISTRATORS WITH THE TOOLS AND INFORMATION NECESSARY TO IDENTIFY STUDENTS WITH LOW ATTENDANCE AND TAKE ACTION TO IMPROVE ATTENDANCE.
