TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF RURAL FAMILIES IN ALL AREAS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE HEAD START & EARLY HEAD START PROGRAMS, IN WHICH THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO ASSURE THE SUCCESSFUL,EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL, PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE, & SELF-ESTEEM GROWTH OF CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO FIVE. OUR MISSION INCLUDES PROVIDING CHILDREN WITH SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS, STRENGTHENING PARENT SKILLS, AND STRENGTHENING THE FAMILY.

OPERATING HEAD START / EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM - HEAD START PROMOTES SCHOOL READINESS BY ENHANCING THE SOCIAL AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT OF LOW- INCOME CHILDREN THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL, NUTRITIONAL, SOCIAL, AND OTHER SERVICES THAT ARE DETERMINED TO BE NECESSARY BASED ON FAMILY NEEDS ASSESSMENTS. HEAD START HAS 91 ENROLLED. EARLY HEAD START PROMOTES HEALTHY PRENATAL OUTCOMES FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, ENHANCES THE DEVELOPMENT OF VERY YOUNG CHILDREN, AND PROMOTES HEALTHY FAMILY FUNCTIONING THROUGH QUALITY EARLY EDUCATION, COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, NUTRITION EDUCATION, AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES. EARLY HEAD START HAS 68 ENROLLED.
