THE KENTUCKY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE CULTURE, TRADITION AND RICH HERTIAGE OF KENTUCKY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL. IT HONORS AND PROVIDES A FITTING TRIBUTE TO FORMER PLAYERS AND COACHES WHILE PRESERVING AND DISPLAYING HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND MEMORABILIA ASSOCIATED WITH THE GAME.

THE INDUCTION RECEPTION AND CEREMONY HONORS PIONEER COACHES AND PLAYERS WHO THROUGH THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS EXEMPLIFY THE "ESSENCE OF THE GAME" OF BASKETBALL WHILE SHARING THEIR LIFETIME ACCOMPLISHMENTS ATTRIBUTED TO PARTICIPATION IN THE GAME. RINGS, PLAQUES, PICTURES WERE AWARDED TO INDUCTEES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SPONSORED EVENTS RELATING TO THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION OF HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL IN KENTUCKY.
