NETFREEDOM PIONEERS (NFP) IS AN EDUCATIONAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT RESEARCHES, DEVOLOPES AND APPLIES COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES TO ENABLE THE FREE FLOW OF INFORMATION TO AREAS WHERE GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS OR INADEQUATE INFRASTUCTURE LIMIT PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE INTERNET.

PROGRAM 1: A ONE-WAY SATELLITE PROGRAM DESIGNED TO DELIVER SELECTED DIGITAL CONTENT, SUCH AS CURRENT AFFAIRS, PRIVACY SOFTWARE, REFERENCE MATERIALS AND, ENTERTAINMENT TO LOCATIONS WHERE INTERNET INFRASTRUCTURE IS UNDERDEVELOPED. DURING THIS TIME, RESEARCH WAS DONE IN THE LOCAL MARKET FOR SATELLITE EQUIPMENT AND THE AVAILABILITY OF RECEPTION DURING PEAK TIME.
