THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM HAS EXPANDED ITS IMPACT AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OVER THE YEARS, INCLUDING THE YEAR 2023. THE YOUNG CHEFS WHO THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED IN THE EARLY YEARS OF ITS ACTIVITY NOT ONLY GAINED INCOMPARABLE TRAINING FOR THEIR CAREERS IN HOSPITALITY BUT ALSO LEARNED VALUABLE INTERPERSONAL SKILLS THAT HELP THEM NEGOTIATE THE CHALLENGING DYNAMICS OF WORK ENVIRONMENTS WITH DIVERSE EMPLOYEES. IN ADDITION, THESE YOUNG CHEFS HAVE BECOME MENTORS AND ROLE MODELS FOR THE LARGER GROUP OF YOUNGER TEENAGERS WHO ATTEND THE FOOD-ORIENTED CAMP EACH SUMMER. THROUGH THE SUMMER CAMP, THE ORGANIZATION IMPACTS YOUNGSTERS WHO WANT TO LEARN ABOUT COOKING AND FOOD ON A FAMILY LEVEL AND WHO ARE ALSO INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT THEIR NEIGHBORS FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS NEIGHBORS WHO THEY WOULD MOST LIKELY NOT ENCOUNTER OTHERWISE. MOREOVER, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ORGANIZATION AND PCCF GIVES THE YOUNG CAMPERS A PERSONAL CONNECTION TO INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED AWFUL TRAGEDIES IN THEIR OWN LIVES AND YET HAVE COMMITTED TO A FUTURE BASED ON PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE.
