ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES:ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES ARE INTENDED TO PROMOTE POLICY REFORM AIMED AT IMPROVING STUDENT ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL EQUITY. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED DEVELOPING POLICY POSITIONS ON RELEVANT EDUCATION QUESTIONS AND DIRECT LOBBYING ON RELATED LEGISLATIVE AND ADMINISTRATIVE TOPICS.THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED A GRANT TO AN ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON INCREASING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS.
