HEALTHY LIFESTYLES PROGRAMRUNNINGWORKS FOR HEALTHY LIFESTYLES IS A HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM FOCUSING ON THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL BEING OF CHIDREN AND ADULTS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND POVERTY IN THE CAROLINAS. TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES, RUNNINGWORKS PROVIDES WELLNEWW INITIATIVES, LIFE SKILL DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL SUPPORT AND COMPREHENSIVE CADE MANAGEENT SERVICES.
AFFORABLE HOUSING PROGRAMTHIS PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO CONNECT FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESD AND POVERTY WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR SAFE, PERMANENT, AND LOW BARRIER HOUSING THEY COULD AFFORD. IN 2022, RUNNINGWORKS CHANGED OUR APPROACH TO ASSISTING CLIENTS WITH HOUSING SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, WHICH OFFICIALLY ENDED OUR AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAM. WE WERE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITION EVERY CLIENT IN THIS PROGRAM TO ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS THAT FIT THEIR NEEDS AND DESIRES.
