VLI TREK-HELD IN POST FALLS, ID AT ROSS POINT CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER MARCH 27-31, 2023 WITH 19 PARTICIPANTS. TREK IS A HANDS-ON, IMMERSIVE PROGRAM DEVELOPED BY THE VETERINARY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (VLI) TO HELP VETERINARY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS BETTER UNDERSTAND THEIR LEADERSHIP CAPACITY SO THEY CAN EXPERIENCE MORE FULFILLING CAREERS.VETERINARY LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE HELD AT THE ROSS POINT CAMP & CONFERENCE CTR, JUNE 5-10, 2023 WAS ATTENDED BY 106 STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND PRIVATE PRACTITIONERS TO LEARN THE LEADERSHIP SKILLS NECESSARY TO MOVE THE VETERINARY PROFESSION FORWARD. TWO STUDENTS AND ONE FACULTY MEMBER FROM THE NORTH AMERICAN VETERINARY SCHOOLS, INCLUDING CANADA, WERE ABLE TO ATTEND, PAYING ONLY A NOMINAL FEE. OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEK, PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WERE INVOLVED WITH LECTURE, SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES AND NUMEROUS FACILITATED CONVERSATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.
