RESEARCHING SOCIAL ISSUES AND PUBLIC POLICY: STAFF ENGAGE IN NON-LOBBYING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING RESEARCH, EDUCATION, LEGAL & POLICY DEVELOPMENT ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: JUDICIAL DIVERSITY AND INDEPENDENCE AMONG STATE COURTS, THE ROLE OF FEDERAL COURTS IN OUR LIVES,ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, TAX FAIRNESS, QUALITY AND AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE AND REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM.
