GRANTMAKING:SVP BOSTON PROVIDES GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT GRANTS TO A PORTFOLIO OF CAREFULLY SELECTED NONPROFITS. FOR THE YEARS ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2022 AND 2021, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED CASH GRANTS TOTALING $146,750 AND $122,500 TO ELEVEN AND SEVEN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, RESPECTIVELY.NONPROFIT CAPACITY BUILDING:SVP BOSTON SUPPORTS CAPACITY BUILDING FOR ITS INVESTEES BY PROVIDING CASH GRANTS AND SKILLED VOLUNTEERS. SVP BOSTON HELPS NONPROFITS BE AS EFFECTIVE AS POSSIBLE IN DELIVERING THEIR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES BY HELPING TO BUILD THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY. SVP BOSTON DEFINES ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF CORE SKILLS, MANAGEMENT PRACTICES, STRATEGIES, AND SYSTEMS TO ENHANCE AN ORGANIZATION'S EFFECTIVENESS, SUSTAINABILITY, AND ABILITY TO FULFILL ITS MISSION.
