THE BIG ISLAND CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL IS PRESENTED BY THE KONA CACAO ASSOCIATION, INC. THE FESTIVAL IS A BENEFIT FUNDRAISER FOR THE "EQUIP THE KITCHENS" CAMPAIGN AT PALAMANUI & KONA PACIFIC PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL'S NEW COMMUNITY AMPHITHEATER. THE MISSION & GOAL OF THIS ASSOCIATION IS ALSO TO PROMOTE THE CACAO INDUSTRY ON THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII BY PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL & OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL CACAO FARMERS, THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY AND CACAO ENTHUSIASTS.
