THE PURPOSE OF PROGRESSNOW NEW MEXICO EDUCATION FUND IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON ISSUES OF PUBLIC CONCERN AND INCREASE VOTER PARTICIPATION IN FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL ELECTIONS.

THE ORGANIZATION HAD AN EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL YEAR WITH REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE ISSUE CAMPAIGNS INCLUDING: PLANNING FOR A VIRTUAL RALLY AND ART INSTILLATION, COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR OTHER REPRO PARTNERS, AND AN EDUCATION CAMPAIGN ABOUT POLICY BEING HEARD DURING THE 2021 SESSION. OUR CLIMATE AND CLEAN ENERGY WORK SAW SUCCESS IN PARTNERING WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO FURTHER PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND ENGAGEMENT IN SUPPORTING METHANE RULES, THE ETA, AND MORE. OUR EMAIL LIST HAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000 MEMBERS THAT WERE ENGAGED OVER A VARIETY OF POLICIES AND ISSUE AREAS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION HAD AN EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL YEAR WITH REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE ISSUE CAMPAIGNS INCLUDING: COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR REPRO PARTNERS SPECIFIC TO KEY POLICY CHANGE AND A SUCCESSFUL BRANDING AND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN IN RESPONSE TO TX SB8. OUR CLIMATE AND CLEAN ENERGY WORK SAW SUCCESS IN A DIGITAL AND BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTING THE EFFECTS OF OIL AND GAS ON OUR COMMUNITIES AND ELECTIONS. ADDITIONALLY, WE SUPPORTED PARTNERS IN PUSHING STRONG METHANE RULES THROUGH DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS. OUR PARTNER SUPPORT CAMPAIGNS ALSO SAW SUCCESS THIS PAST YEAR AND WE PROVIDED COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR POLICY CHANGES FROM CITY COUNCIL TO STATE LEGISLATURE. OUR EMAIL LIST HAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000 MEMBERS THAT WERE ENGAGED OVER A VARIETY OF POLICIES AND ISSUE AREAS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
