DISABILITY RIGHTS OHIO ("DRO") PROVIDES LEGAL AND POLICY ADVOCACY AND RIGHTS PROTECTION TO OHIOANS WITH DISABILITIES. THIS INCLUDES ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS WITH PROBLEMS SUCH AS ABUSE, NEGLECT, DISCRIMINATION, ACCESS TO ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY, SPECIAL EDUCATION, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, COMMUNITY INTEGRATION, VOTING AND RIGHTS PROTECTION ISSUES WITH THE JUVENILE AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS. IN ADDITION, AS A GRANTEE OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION, DRO REVIEWS REPRESENTATIVE PAYEES FOR BENEFICIARIES OF SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY BENEFITS.
