TO REBUILD INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FOR A HEALTHY COMMUNITY BY ADDRESSING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC BARRIERS TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM. MWP IS DEDICATED TO REBUILDING SAFE, HEALTHY, AND WHOLE COMMUNITIES IN A COLLABORATE EFFORT OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE RESOURCES. THE ORGANIZATION'S COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON THE MULTIPLE FACTORS THAT ARE RELATED TO SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PROBLEMS FOR HIGH-RISK BEHAVIOR, RECIDIVISM, CHRONIC JOBLESS AND HOMELESS.

PROVIDE RE-ENTRY SERVICES TO HELP RETURNING COMMUNITY MEMBERS MAKE THE TRANSITION FROM JAIL TO COMMUNITY.


PROVIDE MENTORING SERVICES, PROGRAM ADMINSTRATION TO HELP PARTICIPANTS WHILE INCARCERATED TO DEVELOP A PLAN SURROUNDING THEIR INTEREST AND GOALS FOCUSING ON EMPLOYMENT, RECOVERY, HOUSING NEEDS, AND LIFE SKILLS.


CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING PROGRAM. PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH HOUSING, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, AND NECESSARY TOOLS THAT FOCUS ON MEETING RE-ENTRY RELATED NEED. EXPAND EXISTING PROGRAMS OR CREATE NEW PROGRAM ACTIVITIES THAT WILL ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE PARTICIPANTS. FORTY PARTICIPANTS WERE HOUSED IN THIS PROGRAM. 30 OUT OF THE 40 PARTICIPANTS HAVE PERMANENT JOBS AND THE REMAINING 10 PARTICIPANTS HAVE RETURNED TO THE FAMILY UNIT.


CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT GRANTS PROGRAM. PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH SUPPORT IN JOB PLACEMENT, MENTAL HEALTH TREAMENT, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT, SYSTEM NAVIGATION SERVICES, LEGAL SERVICES TO ADDRESS BARRIERS TO REENTRY FOR THOSE DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACTED BY PAST FEDERAL AND STATE DRUG POLICIES.SEVENTY FIVE PARTICIPANTS HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM. 15 PARTICIPANTS HAS BEEN SUSBSTANCE FREE FOR A YEAR, 25 ARE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED, AND NONE OF THE PARTICIPANTS HAVE RETURNED TO CUSTODY.
