THE MISSION OF A DOOR OF HOPE IS TO SERVE AT-RISK CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL AND LEGAL AUTHORITIES BY MOBILIZING AND EQUIPPING THE FAITH COMMUNITY TO RESCUE, PROTECT, AND NURTURE CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM. WE PROVIDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SERVICES AT NO CHARGE TO THE RECIPIENTS: - RECRUITMENT, TRAINING, LICENSING AND MAINTENANCE OF FOSTER CARE HOMES - CERTIFIED LICENSING SPECIALIST ARE REQUIRED BY STATE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TO PROVIDE ALL TRAINING, LICENSING AND SUPPORT SERVICES. - RETAIN FOSTER CARE HOMES FOR CONTINUED PLACEMENT OF CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE PROGRAM - TRAINING AND EVENT PLANNING AT A PRE-PLACEMENT FACILITY FOR CHILDREN AWAITING ASSESSMENT - CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMNET TRAINING PROVIDED TO LICENSED FOSTER PARENTS TO MEET STATE REQUIREMENTS
