INVEST IN GIRLS HOSTS FOUR INTERACTIVE FINANCIAL EDUCATION WORKSHOPS WITH APPROXIMATELY 900 STUDENTS EACH YEAR AT VARIOUS SCHOOLS FOR A TOTAL OF 12 WORKSHOPS OVER THE THREE YEARS. OVER THE THREE YEARS, GIRLS LEARN THE "B.I.G' CONCEPTS; BUDGETING, INVESTING, AND GIVING. THE WORKSHOPS INCORPORATE FINANCIAL SIMULATIONS. THROUGH ONLINE PORTAL, GIRLS ARE ABLE TO ACCESS WORKSHOP MATERIALS AT ANY TIME.
INVEST IN GIRLS MATCHES EACH GIRL WITH A COMPATIBLE MENTOR WORKING IN THE FINANCE WORLD. MENTORS PROVIDE AN INTRODUCTION INTO FINANCE CAREERS AND A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF FINANCIAL CONCEPTS. MENTORS AND GIRLS CALL OR SKYPE MONTHLY TO DISCUSS FUTURE EDUCATION PLANS, POTENTIAL INTERNSHIPS, AND VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TOPICS.
