EAT REAL FESTIVAL: THIS EVENT BRINGS FCI FOOD ENTREPRENEURS AND CONSUMERS TOGETHER IN A SHOWPLACE OF FOOD MAKING AND ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION BEYOND OUR USUAL CURRICULUM. EAT REAL CELEBRATES THE SUCCESSES OF OUR HARD WORKING STUDENTS, EXPERTS, PRACTITIONERS, INSTRUCTORS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS. ANNUALLY WE HIGHLIGHT FOOD CRAFT INSTITUTE GRADUATES AND PRACTITIONERS THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL.
INSTRUCTIONAL COURSES: WE OFFER STRUCTURED, HANDS-ON COURSES TAUGHT BY A COMBINATION OF EXPERT FOOD MAKERS, OWNERS OF SUCCESSFUL FOOD BUSINESSES AS WELL AS MARKETING AND BUSINESS EXPERTS. TEACHING MANUAL SKILLS AND A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF PRIMARY INGREDIENTS, OUR PRACTITIONER/TEACHERS GUIDE STUDENTS IN TECHNIQUES THAT DATE BACK CENTURIES.
SPECIAL EVENTS: PUBLIC SESSIONS OFFERING A MIX OF HANDS ON TRAINING AND SENSORY ANALYSIS, TAUGHT BY THE BAY AREA?S MASTERS AND MAKERS. DEDICATED FANS GATHER TO LEARN ABOUT THE STYLES, SCIENCE, TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS OF THEIR FAVORITE FOODS ? GRANTING ACCESS NORMALLY RESERVED FOR INDUSTRY PROS.
