CAMP NWMI: NWMI HOSTS A TWO WEEK OUTDOOR YOUTH CAMP FOR AGES 5-18. CAMPERS PARTICIPATE IN ARTS AND CRAFTS, AND LEARN ISLAMIC ETHICS THROUGH EXPERENTIAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CANOEING AND CLIMBING, AS WELL AS SPORTS AND OUTDOOR GAMES.
EID PRAYER AND CARNIVAL - NWMI HOLDS EID SERVICES TWICE A YEAR AND ALSO ORGANIZES A CELEBRATORY CARNIVAL FOR THE COMMUNITY. COMMUNITY MEMBERS COME TOGETHER TO ENJOY BRUNCH. NWMI ORGANIZES, MOON BOUNCES, PETTING ZOOS, PHOTO-BOOTHS, POPCORN, COTTON CANDY, FACE PAINTING, AND OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES
RAMADAN PROGRAMMING - DURING RAMADAN NWMI HOSTS IFTAR DINNERS. THE COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER TO BREAK THE FAST TOGETHER. THESE DINNERS ARE COMBINED ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SOCIAL SERVICE ACTIVITIES AND TRIVIA GAMES.
