LAUNCHED IN 2020, THE HEALTHY HARBOR COMMUNITY INITIATIVE (HHCI) GRANT PROGRAM AWARDED FUNDS TO FOUR ORGANIZATIONS, OFFSETTING THE IMPACTS OF PORT-RELATED OPERATIONS. GRANTS IN 2021 RANGED FROM $21,000 TO $135,000.THIS ANNUAL HEALTH-FOCUSED GRANT IS PART OF A LARGER STRATEGY TO BRING RESOURCES INTO THE COMMUNITY, SUPPORT ONGOING COLLABORATIONS, AND ESTABLISH NEW PARTNERSHIPS THAT BENEFIT THE COMMUNITIES OF SAN PEDRO AND WILMINGTON.
