AUTISM EMPOWERMENT IS DEVOTED TO ENRICHING AND EMPOWERING THE LIVES OF YOUTH ADULTS AND FAMILIES WITHIN AUTISTIC AND NEURODIVERGENT COMMUNITIES. WE PROMOTE A CULTURE OF AUTISM ACCEPTANCE AND BELIEVE THAT EACH ONE OF US HAS GIFTS STRENGTHS AND TALENTS TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. WHEREVER A PERSON IDENTIFIES IN THEIR LIFE JOURNEY AUTISM EMPOWERMENT IS HERE TO MEET THEM ALONG THE WAY WITH ACCEPTANCE ENRICHMENT INSPIRATION AND EMPOWERMENT FOR THE ROAD AHEAD.

SPECTRUM LIFE MAGAZINE: SPECTRUM LIFE MAGAZINE IS A PRINT AND DIGITAL MAGAZINE WRITTEN BY AND FOR AUTISTIC AUTISM AND NEURODIVERGENT COMMUNITIES. EACH ISSUE INCLUDES TOPICS IN THE SIX FEATURED AREAS OF ADVOCACY LIFESPAN RECREATION HEALTH & WELLNESS AND THERAPY. AN AVERAGE ISSUE IS 48 PAGES AND INCLUDES 12 - 15 ARTICLES AND ADDITIONAL CONTENT ONLINE THROUGH OUR SPECTRUMLIFE.ORG AUTISMEMPOWERMENT.ORG AND AUTISMEMPOWERMENTPODCAST.ORG WEB SITES. EACH QUARTERLY ISSUE REACHES ABOUT 30,000 - 35,000 READERS IN THE NORTHWEST THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 600 DISTRIBUTION LOCATIONS. THE MAGAZINE IS ALSO AVAILABLE ONLINE AND HAS READERS AND PRINT SUBSCRIBERS NATIONALLY AND WORLDWIDE. SUPPLEMENTAL CONTECT INCLUDES BLOG ARTICLES EXTENDED INTERVIEWS OUR AUTISM EMPOWERMENT PODCAST EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS A RESOURCE DIRECTORY AND OTHER ENRICHING MATERIAL RELEVANT FOR AUTISM AND DISABILITIES COMMUNITIES.


COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT - THIS PROGRAM IS AN UMBRELLA FOR ALL COMMUNITY EDUCATION ENRICHMENT AND ADVOCACY WORKS. THIS INCLUDES OUR AUTISM EMPOWERMENT PODCAST AUTISMEMPOWERMENTPODCAST.ORG SUPPORT GROUPS ADVOCACY AND COALITION WORK COMMUNITY EVENTS TRAININGS COLLABORATIONS EXHIBITIONS COMMUNITY SUPPORT VIA EMAIL AND ONLINE GROUPS AND OTHER SERVICES WHICH TAKE PLACE IN SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON THE PORTLAND OREGON METRO AREA AND BEYOND.


AUTISM SERVES - THIS IS A VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM WHICH EMPHASIZES SERVICE LEARNING FOR YOUTH ADULTS AND FAMILIES WHO IDENTIFY WITHIN AUTISTIC AUTISM AND NEURODIVERGENT COMMUNITIES. OUR YOUTH DIVISION IS CALLED AUTISM SERVES KIDS CARE CLUB AND SERVES CHILDREN AND TEENS ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE EMPHASIZE THAT EACH OF US ARE UNIQUE AND HAVE STRENGTHS AND GIFTS TO SHARE. WE PROMOTE VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCES ONLINE AND REGIONALLY THAT ALLOW OPPORTUNITIES FOR KIDS CARE CLUB MEMBERS TO GAIN LIFE SKILLS INFORMATION AND EXPERIENCE WITH ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT IN OUR WORLD TODAY INCLUDING AUTISM ACCEPTANCE AND AWARENESS EDUCATION DISABILITY RIGHTS LITERACY HUNGER ANIMAL WELFARE POVERTY HOMELESSNESS VETERAN ISSUES SENIOR & ELDER CARE BULLYING PREVENTION RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS ENVIRONMENT EMPLOYMENT MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS AND SUICIDE PREVENTION. WE TAKE ON DIFFERENT PROJECTS EACH YEAR AND PARTNER WITH A WIDE RANGE OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS BUSINESS AND GROUPS LOCALLY NATIONALLY AND WORLDWIDE.
