VILLAGES IN PARTNERSHIP (VIP) IS A FAITH-BASED CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION THAT IMPLEMENTS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN MALAWI, AFRICA, IN THE AREAS OF WATER & SANITATION, FOOD SECURITY, HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE.

THROUGH EXTENSIVE COMMUNICATIONS AND PLANNING WITH OUR SISTER ORGANIZATION IN MALAWI (VILLAGES IN PARTNERSHIP INTERNATIONAL), VIP SUPPORTED THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS (THROUGH GRANTS AND IN-KIND DONATIONS OF PROJECT SUPPLIES) AMONG OTHERS IN 2021; PROVIDED ACCESS TO SAFE, CLEAN WATER TO 5,262, COMPRISING 94% OF OUR HOUSEHOLDS IN THE OUR IMPACT AREA; OVER 4,000 MEDICAL PATIENTS AND 1,400 DENTAL TREATED BY A TEAM OF MALAWIAN & U.S. MEDICS; BROKE GROUND ON THE KHANDA HEALTH CENTER, WHICH WILL BRING MEDICAL SERVICES TO 30,000 UNDERSERVED PEOPLE IN RURAL VILLAGES; PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO 100 SECONDARY STUDENTS AND 17 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS; PLANTED 2,200 TRESS TO COMBACT DEFORESTATION; VACCINATED 20,533 CHICKENS AGAINST THE NEW CASTLE DISEASE; INSTALLED 128 CONCRETE SANITATION PLATFORM COVERS OVER PIT LATERNS TO PROMOTE SAFE SANITATION AND HEALTH PRACTICES; $30,000 SAVED BY PARTICIPANTS IN VIP'S VILLAGE SAVINGS & LOANS CLUBS; AND 353KG OF HONEY HARVESTED FOR SALE AT LOCAL MARKETS.
