IDD AND BRAIN INJURY SERVICES:NEW VISTA BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE, INC. PROVIDES SERVICES THROUGH THE SUPPORTS FOR COMMUNITY LIVING (SCL), MICHELLE P. WAIVER PROGRAMS, AND BRAIN INJURY TRUST TO INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND/OR TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES. THESE SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS IN BECOMING MORE INDEPENDENT BY ENCOURAGING PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT AND INCREASING INVOLVEMENT IN THE COMMUNITY AND INCLUDE: 24 HOUR RESIDENTIAL SUPPORTS IN A FAMILY HOME PROVIDER SETTING DESIGNED TO FOSTER THE ACQUISITION OF SKILLS, BUILD POSITIVE SOCIAL BEHAVIOR AND INTERPERSONAL COMPETENCE, AND FOSTER GREATER INDEPENDENCE AND PERSONAL CHOICE; RESPITE FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO DO NOT CURRENTLY RECEIVE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, ARE RESIDING IN THEIR OWN HOME OR THEIR FAMILY'S HOME, AND ARE UNABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY ADMINISTER SELF-CARE.
