CHILDREN FIRST ALSO COMPLETED ITS SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM, BRINGING TOGETHER 20 HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION, CHILDREN FIRST DISTRIBUTED OVER 1000 BACKPACKS TO UNDERSERVED CHILDREN; PROVIDED FREE MEALS TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES; AND ORGANIZED 4 NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP EVENTS.
