PCAN WORKS TO ENLIST THE SUPPORT OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS ON MATTERS RELATED TO PHARMACY CARE ACCESS THROUGH PERSON-TO-PERSON CORRESPONDENCE, EARNED MEDIA, ONLINE, AND AT THIRD PARTY EVENTS. THROUGH ITS CONTACT WITH INDIVIDUALS, PHARMACIES, AND ORGANIZATIONS PCAN SEEKS TO BUILD A MEMBERSHIP BASE FOR SHARING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE ISSUES PCAN SUPPORTS AND TO PROVIDE THEM WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE IN A VARIETY OF SETTINGS. PCAN ALSO WORKS TO EDUCATE ELECTED OFFICIALS ON ISSUES IMPACTING COMMUNITY PHARMACIES AND THEIR CUSTOMERS. TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN REACHED THROUGH THESE EFFORTS.
