MEMBER PROGRAMS: THE SOCIETY FOR CARDIOVASCULAR ANGIOGRAPHY AND INTERVENTIONS (THE ASSOCIATION) PROMOTES THE COMMON INTERESTS, BUSINESS CONDITIONS, AND PRACTICES OF THOSE IN THE FIELD OF CARDIOVASCULAR ANGIOGRAPHY AND INTERVENTIONS. IT IS THE PRIMARY PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR INVASIVE AND INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGISTS AND PHYSICIANS WHO DIAGNOSE AND TREAT CONDITIONS SUCH AS CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE, CONGENITAL/STRUCTURAL HEART CONDITIONS, STROKE AND PERIPHERAL ARTERY DISEASE THROUGH CATHETER-BASED PROCEDURES INCLUDING ANGIOGRAPHY, ANGIOPLASTY AND STENTING. THE ASSOCIATION ENGAGES IN A RANGE OF QUALITY AND ADVOCACY ISSUES, INCLUDING ISSUES IMPACTING HEALTHCARE QUALITY MEASUREMENT AND REPORTING, DEVELOPMENT OF PRACTICE GUIDELINES, AND HEALTH REFORM.
