IN 2022, MICROAID COMPLETED A ONE GROUND-UP HOME RECONSTRUCTION IN NEPAL FOR A DISASTER SURVIVOR FAMILY. IT WAS IN THE TOWN OF BHAKTAPUR IN THE KATHMANDU VALLEY. THE NEW PROJECT, ALSO IN THE TOWN OF BHAKTAPUR IN THE KATHMANDU VALLEY, IS ONGOING INTO 2023.THE LATEST FAMILY MICROAID CHOSE TO HELP HAD ALSO LOST THEIR HOME TO THE EARTHQUAKE IN 2015. MICROAID ALSO HAD TO DO A POST-CONSTRUCTION REPAIR TO THEIR MEXICO HOME CONSTRUCTION (2021), IN THE TOWN OF JUCHITAN IN THE STATE OF OAXACA. THEY REPAIRED A MAJOR LEAK TO THE HOUSE BY REMOVING A TREE NEAR THE HOUSE AND FIXING ITS ROOF.
