ALTRU HEALTH FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT ALTRU HEALTH SYSTEM IN FULFILLING ITS MISSION OF ACHIEVING OPTIMUM HEALTH FOR ALL RESIDENTS RESIDING IN OUR REGION THROUGH FUNDING OF TECHNOLOGY, FACILITIES, MEDICAL EDUCATION, AND HEALTHCARE FOR THOSE IN NEED. THIS FULFILLS ALTRU HEALTH SYSTEM'S OVERALL MISSION OF IMPROVING HEALTH, ENRICHING LIFE.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ALTRU HEALTH FOUNDATION IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ALTRU HEALTH SYSTEM. TOTAL GRANTS AND DISBURSEMENTS TO ALTRU HEALTH SYSTEM AND AFFILIATES TOTALS $1,610,875 TO SUPPORT PATIENT NEEDS, PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMMING, CAPITAL EQUIPMENT NEEDS, PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE, AND SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS' PROGRAM AND GENERAL NEEDS.
GRANTS TO NON-ALTRU NONPROFIT ENTITIES TO FURTHER THEIR MISSIONS AND CONTINUE THEIR SERVICES TO THE REGION. GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS.
