THE ND VFW IS A VETERANS ORGANIZATION WHICH FOSTERS CAMARADERIE AMONG UNITED STATES VETERANS OF OVERSEAS CONFLICTS & WARS; SERVES OUR VETERANS, THE MILITARY, AND OUR COMMUNITIES; HELPS THE WIDOWS & ORPHANS; TO REMEMBER OUR DEAD; AND ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF ALL VETERANS.

COMMANDER MOEN'S PROJECT WAS WESTERN DAKOTA HONOR FLIGHT WHICH ASSISTS VETERANS TO TRAVEL TO WASHINGTON DC TO VIEW THE MEMORIALS AND TO VISIT WITH CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATES ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING FOR VETERANS. THIS ALLOWS THE VETERANS TO TRAVEL AT NO COST TO THE VETERAN. A CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,303.15 WAS PRESENTED TO WESTERN DAKOTA HONOR FLIGHT BY COMMANDER MOEN.
