KENTUCKY NEPHROLOGY RESEARCH TRUST, INC. ("KNRT") PROVIDES EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE, PRIOR TO PROGRESSING TO END-STAGE RENAL DISEASE WITH DIALYSIS. THE PROGRAM ASSISTS APPROXIMATELY 573 PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM RENAL DISEASE.
KENTUCKY NEPHROLOGY RESEARCH TRUST, INC. ("KNRT") PROVIDES GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE RESEARCH, EDUCATION, PREVENTION, AND CURE OF DISEASES OF THE KIDNEY AND RELATED ILLNESSES. THIS SUPPORT IS BEING EXPANDED TO INCLUDE COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA RESEARCH INTO THE EFFECTS KIDNEY AND BONE HEALTH ON AGING, AND THE HEALTHY AGING OF PATIENTS WITH RENAL DISEASE.
