TO FOSTER INTEREST AMONG ITS MEMBERS IN THE SOCIAL AND CIVIC ACTIVITIES PERTAINING TO EVENTS SPONSORED OR CONDUCTED BY THE AMERICAN ROYAL ASSOCIATION, INC. AND TO MAKE AVAILABLE THEIR VOLUNTEER AMERICAN ROYAL ACTIVITIES.

THE BELLES OF THE AMERICAN ROYAL (BOTAR)IS A WOMENS LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS THE UNIQUE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN ROYAL AND ITS ROLE IN PROMOTING THE AGRIBUSINESS ECONOMY IN KANSAS CITY AND THE REGION. BOTAR ENCOURAGES CIVIC INVOLVMENT AND DEVELOPS LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH INTER-GENERATIONAL MENTORING AND VOLUNTEERISM. AS A PART OF THEIR SUPPORT OF THE AMERICAN ROYAL, BOTAR MEMBERS PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE AMERICAN ROYAL SCHOLARSHIP AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, VOLUNTEER FOR THE SCHOOL TOURS PROGRAM, AND PROVIDE HOSPITALITY TO AMERICAN ROYAL STUDENT AMBASSADORS. THE EFFORTS OF BOTAR MEMBERS DURING THE YEAR RESULTED IN MONETARY SUPPORT TO THE AMERICAN ROYAL ASSOCIATION.
