TO SERVE AND PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
RISK MINIMIZATION STUDIES AND RESEARCH THE NFHS FOUNDATION ANNOUNCED A GRANT PROGRAM DURING FY22 TO DISTRIBUTE 5,000 WET BULB GLOBE THERMOMETERS TO HIGH SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THE $1.5 MILLION PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE SCHOOLS WITH AN IMPORTANT TOOL FOR MINIMIZING HEAT-RELATED ILLNESS DURING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. AN ADDITIONAL 400 UNITS WERE DISTRIBUTED DURING FY23.
