THE MISSION OF THE SEDALIA-PETTIS COUNTY UNITED WAY IS TO INCREASE THE ORGANIZED CAPACITY OF PEOPLE TO CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER AND TO CONDUCT ANNUAL FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGNS TO RAISE MONEY FOR OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS LOCATED WITHIN THE SEDALIA-PETTIS COUNTY, MISSOURI AREA.

UNITED WAY ENGAGES PEOPLE IN GIVING BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITY TO ADVANCE THE COMMON GOOD. BY BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER WHO HAVE PASSION, EXPERTISE, AND RESOURCES, THE UNITED WAY ACHEIVES A FAR GREATER RESULT THAN ANY ONE GROUP COULD ACHEIVE ON THEIR OWN. VOLUNTEERS FROM THE COMMUNITY LEAD THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN WHICH KEEPS OVERHEAD COSTS LOW AND THE SYSTEM EFFICIENT.
