PUBLIC EDUCATION AND OUTREACH:RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS, DISTRIBUTING EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE, AND CONDUCTING SURVEYS AND DISCUSSING ISSUES WITH THE PUBLIC, REACHING OUT TO CITIZENS EACH YEAR ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: PROTECTING OUR COASTS FROM OFFSHORE DRILLING; CLEAN ENERGY AND SOLAR POWER; PRESERVATION OF OUR STATE PARKS; AND, PROTECTING OUR RIVERS AND CLEAN WATER.
