THE FOOD SHELF OPERATES WITH A VOLUNTEER STAFF UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE DIRECTOR AND ASSISTANT DIRECTOR. THEY ASSIST PERSONS IN SELECTING GROCERY ITEMS AND BASIC NECESSITIES ( TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS, TOOTHPASTE, SOAP ETC.) THE FOOD SHELF IS OPEN ONE DAY A WEEK BUT PROVIDES HELP IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. THE DIRECTOR AND ASST DIRECTOR ARE IN CHARGE OF DAILY OPERATIONS INCLUDING ORDERING GROCERIES, REPORTING TO CHANNEL ONE AND HUNGER SOLUTIONS
