1) - PDG WAS PRESENTED BY THE EL CAMINO CENTER FOR THE ARTS FOR TWO CONCERTS IN OCTOBER. PDG ALSO TAUGHT A MASTER CLASS FOR THE PUBLIC, AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, JOHN PENNINGTON, CHOREOGRAPHED A WORK ON ECC STUDENTS FOR THEIR SHOWCASE. - PDG PRESENTED THE THIRD CONCERT IN AN ANNUAL SERIES TITLED "FOOTHILLS DANCE MAKERS". PDG AND THREE OTHER NON-PROFIT DANCE COMPANIES JOINED TOGETHER TO CRAFT CONCERTS DISPLAYING THE TALENT OF LOCAL DANCERS AND CHOREOGRAPHERS IN THE LOS ANGELES REGION. PDG PREMIERED TWO NEW WORKS. - PDG WAS COMMISSIONED TO PRESENT WORK AT ST. JOHN'S CATHEDRAL (LOS ANGELES) FOR A FREE CONCERT TITLED "IN THE DEEP". PDG JOINED THE ST. JOHN'S CHOIR TO PREMIERE A NEW WORK AND PERFORM CHOICES FROM PDG REPERTORY. 2) PDG IS A PARTNER WITH THE CITY OF PASADENA AS A PRESENTER OF ARTNIGHT. PDG PERFORMED AND PRESENTED OTHER DANCE ARTISTS IN THE FREE PUBLIC EVENT IN OCTOBER 2023 THAT WAS ATTENDED BY OVER 500 PEOPLE. 3) PDG ARTISTIC DIRECTOR WAS THE GUEST ARTIST AT IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE WHERE HE CREATED A NEW WORK FOR STUDENTS IN THE ADVANCED ENSEMBLE. THE PIECE, TIERRA UNFIRMA, WAS INCLUDED IN THE YEAR-END DEPARTMENT CONCERT. 4) PDG OFFERS WEEKLY CLASSES IN MODERN DANCE TECHNIQUE. CLASSES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND ARE GIVEN AT A SUBSTANTIALLY BELOW MARKET RATE OF 10 FOR A TWO-HOUR CLASS. PDG ALSO OFFERS SHORT TERM BLOCKS OF CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS GIVEN BY VISITING ARTISTS AT BELOW MARKET RATE. 5) PDG MAKES ITS HOME STUDIO / THEATER SPACE AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL TO LOCAL DANCE AND PERFORMING GROUPS AT REDUCED RATES. PDG ENCOURAGES AND PROMOTES THE GROWTH AND VISIBILITY OF OTHER NON-PROFIT AND EMERGING DANCE GROUPS IN ITS COMMUNITY. 6) IN ADDITION, THROUGH PDG'S VARIOUS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND E-MAIL BLASTS, WE'VE ESTIMATED THAT OVER 500 PEOPLE A MONTH HAVE CLICKED THROUGH TO SEE PERFORMANCES AND READ ABOUT OUR HISTORY AND CURRENT EVENTS. FOR ITEMS 1-5, OVER 2,500 PEOPLE ATTENDED OR PARTICIPATED IN PDG EVENTS.
