IN 2021, BCF SUPPORTED THE FOLLOWING INITIATIVES IN PURSUIT OF ITS MISSION:BGM COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPPORT - RAISE FUNDS AND SUPPORT THE SCHOOLS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RENOVATIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BASEBALL FIELD AND ASSISTANCE WITH SCHOOL PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE BROOKLYN AQUATIC CLUB, WRESTLING, AND PROM.EAST POWESHIEK AMBULANCE SERVICE - RAISE FUNDS AND SUPPORT FOR THE LOCAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES.FIRE DEPARTMENT - RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE BROOKLYN FIRE DEPARTMENT.JOHN WAYNE MARKER - RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR A JOHN WAYNE MARKER IN BROOKLYN, IOWA.BROOKLYN HISTORICAL - RAISE FUNDS, PROVIDE SUPPORT, AND OFFER TOURS FOR THE BROOKLYN IOWA MUSEUM.BROOKLYN FOOD BANK/BEAR BAGS - PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN IN NEED SUCH AS FOOD, SUPPLIES, SPORTS EQUIPMENT, GRIEF BOOKS, AND READING AID.MICHAEL J MANATT COMMUNITY CENTER - RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER THAT IS USED FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES IN THE COMMUNITY.BEAR CREEK TRAP - RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SHOOTING/TRAP RANGE NORTHWEST OF BROOKLYN, IOWA.LANDES LADIES - RAISE FUNDS FOR RENOVATION OF THE CITY PARK TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY CHILDREN AND RESTORATION OF COMMUNITY PROPERTY.YOUTH SPORTS FOUNDATION - RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE LOCAL 5TH AND 6TH GRADE COMMUNITY FOOTBALL TEAMS.PIE KELLER - RAISE FUNDS TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A MEMORIAL INCLUDING A STATUE HONORING HAROLD "PIE" KELLER AND HIS PRESENCE AT IWO JIMA.
