PROGRAMS, MEETINGS, AND EVENTS INCLUDES ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION'S INDUSTRY RELATIONS SPONSORED PROGRAMS, INCLUDING DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS, COMMODITY CLASSIC, CONSERVATION PROGRAMS, ETC., AS WELL AS THE ASSOCIATION'S ACTION PARTNERSHIP AND THE ASSOCIATION'S INNOVATION TO MARKET PROGRAMS. ADDITIONALLY, OVERHEAD COST IS ALLOCATED TO PROGRAMS, MEETINGS, AND EVENTS ON BOTH A HEADCOUNT AND USAGE BASIS.


GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS TEAM ADVOCATES AND EDUCATION TO THE U.S. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN BOTH THE EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE BRANCH, INCLUDE AGENCIES SUCH AS U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY. ISSUES THE ASSOCIATION ADVOCATE FOR INCLUDE THE FARM ECONOMY, TRADE, TRADE AGREEMENTS, FUNDING MARKET DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, INFRASTRUCTURE, BIODIESEL, ETC. ADDITIONALLY, OVERHEAD COST IS ALLOCATED TO GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS ON BOTH A HEADCOUNT AND USAGE BASIS.
