ADVOCACY:ADVOCACY SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND GENERAL CRIME, SUCH AS: 24 HOUR HOTLINE STAFFED BY TRAINED ADVOCATES; ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT COUNSELING FOR MEDICAL, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND LEGAL PROCEDURES, INCLUDING COURT HEARINGS, TRIALS; ASSISTANCE IN FILING ORDER FOR PROTECTION OR HARASSMENT RESTRAINING ORDERS WITH THE COURT; SUPPORT GROUPS FOR ABUSE SURVIVORS; EMERGENCY SAFE HOUSE OPTIONS; COMMUNITY EDUCATION THROUGH SCHOOLS, BUSINESSES, CHURCHES, AS WELL AS PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS. WE PROVIDED ADVOCACY SERVICES TO 523 CLIENTS IN MORRISON COUNTY AND 360 CLIENTS IN TODD COUNTY. OF THIS THERE WERE 244 MALES, 633 FEMALES; AND 6 UNKNOWN VICTIMS. 261 WERE 24 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER AND 622 WERE OVER THE AGE OF 24. IN THE PAST YEAR WE HAVE DONE 3,340 CRIMINAL/CIVIL JUSTICE SYSTEM ASSISTANT EVENTS.


VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAM:DURING THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2021, WE HAD DONE 52 PRESENTATIONS TO 756 INDIVIDUALS. WITH COVID STILL BEING A MAJOR FACTOR, WE ARE CUSTOMIZING OUR PRESENTATIONS BASED ON THE REQUEST.
