BAYVIEW FOUNDATION, INC. IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO LOW INCOME RESIDENTS. BAYVIEW IS MADE UP OF BAYVIEW TOWNHOUSES, A SECTION 8 PROJECT BASED DEVELOPMENT THAT INCLUDES 102 TWO AND THREE BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE STYLE APARTMENT UNITS AND A COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT.MISSION: THE BAYVIEW FOUNDATION SUPPORTS ITS CULTURALLY DIVERSE, LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN REALIZING THEIR ASPIRATIONS BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING, FOSTERING CULTURAL PRIDE, AND BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH THE ARTS, EDUCATION, AND RECREATION.

BAYVIEW TOWNHOUSES IS COMPRISED OF 102 UNITS OF RESIDENTIAL HOUSING INTENDED FOR LOW TO MODERATE INCOME HOUSEHOLDS IN MADISON, WI. THE FOUNDATION HAS A SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. APPROXIMATELY 300 RESIDENTS LIVE AT BAYVIEW.
BAYVIEW'S INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR EDUCATION AND THE ARTS, THE CENTRALLY LOCATED COMMUNITY CENTER, PROVIDES SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS TO THE BAYVIEW RESIDENTS, AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
