TO PAY FOR AND PROVIDE VISUAL AIDS, HANDOUTS, BOOKS AND VARIOUS MATERIALS THAT ARE USED FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUTH AND ADULTS IN THE AREAS OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION. TO PROTECT ENDANGERED SPECIES THAT LIVE WITHIN THE PRESERVE. TO PROTECT THE HABITAT THAT THE SPECIES LIVE IN. THE THREE LARGEST SERVICE ARE EDUCATION EVENTS, MEMBERSHIP, AND SCHOOL PROGRAM. IN 2021 WOODLAND DUNES CONTINUED RESTORATION OF AN 80 ACRE WETLAND, AND RESTORED HABITAT BY PLANTING 3,000 TREES. IT PROVIDED EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR NEARLY 3,000 PEOPLE. WOODLAND DUNES ALSO CONTINUED UPGRADES TO ALL BOARDWALKS.
USING GRANT PROCEEDS, THE ORGANIZATION WORKS ON RESTORING WETLAND, PLANTING TREES AND UPGRADING ALL BOARDWALKS.
