WPSA SUCCESSFULLY HAD 4 CONFERENCES IN 2020-2021 WITH 344 ATTENDEES, TRAINED ANOTHER 85 TRAIN THE TRAINERS WITH THE DCCI TRAINING, TRAINED ANOTHER 42 TRAIN THE TRAINERS WITH DCCII TRAINING, WORKED COLLABORATIVELY WITH DHS IN THE THIRD PARTY ASSESSMENT WITH EVV, HAS BEENAPPROACHED BY MULTIPLE NEWSPAPERS FOR ARTICLES ON WORKFORCE CRISIS AND THE INCREASE IN MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT, AND HAS REPRESENTATION ON THE COMMITTEE FOR THE REWRITE OF DHS 105.17 AND THE GOVERNOR'S TASK FORCE ON CAREGIVING. WPSA WILL CONTINUE TO WORK CLOSELY WITH DHS AND LEGISLATORS IN ADVOCATING FOR PERSONAL CARE AGENCIES AND THEIR WORKERS.
