TEN MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH EDUCATIONAL SPEAKERS, SEVEN ADDITIONAL EVENTS AND SEMINARS AND AN ANNUAL TRADE SHOW WERE HELD TO PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO DISCUSS ISSUES RELATING TO THE APARTMENT RENTAL INDUSTRY AND UPDATE THEM ON NEW DEVELOPMENTS. THE ORGANIZATION HAS APPROXIMATELY 464 MEMBERS OF WHICH AN AVERAGE OF 100 ATTEND EACH MEETING. THE TRADE SHOW HAD SOME 500 ATTENDEES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PUBLISHES A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP NEWSLETTER. THE ORGANIZATION IS INVOLVED WITH LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS ON ISSUES RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP AND OPERATION.
