CAI'S MISSION IS TO ACCELERATE AND INCREASE THE VOLUME OF RESEARCH COMMERCIALIZATION IN SUPPORT OF HIGH GROWTH BUSINESS IN ORDER TO IGNITE ENTREPRENEURSHIP, BOLSTER THE GLOBAL ECONOMY AND MAXIMIZE THE COMMERCIAL AND KNOWLEDGE-BASED POTENTIAL OF PROMISING INVENTIONS. THE INNOVATE CHILDREN'S HEALTH CHALLENGE IS ORCHESTRATED BY THE CENTER FOR ADVANCING INNOVATION (CAI) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RESONANCE PHILANTHROPIES OF THE SILICON VALLEY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, CHILDREN'S NATIONAL HOSPITAL, AND DIGITAL INFUZION. AS WITH CAI'S PRIOR CHALLENGES, TEAMS WILL ADVANCE PROMISING DE-RISKED INVENTIONS SELECTED WITH RIGOROUS DUE DILIGENCE BY POTENTIAL INVESTORS AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS. TEAMS MAY ALSO ENTER WITH THEIR OWN COMMERCIALLY VIABLE INVENTIONS. CAI INVITES ANYONE TO SUBMIT AN IDEA WITH THE POTENTIAL TO IMPORVE CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH AND PANDEMIC RESILIENCY. AN EXPERT JUDGING PANEL WILL SELECT A TOTAL OF 15 WINNERS FROM THE POOL OF TEAMS, ADVANCING PROMISING INVENTIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS WITH THE BEST IDEAS.


THE BRAIN RACE IS ORCHESTRATED BY THE CENTER FOR ADVANCING INNOVATION (CAI) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BRAIN TUMOUR CHARITY AND THE SILICON VALLEY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. THIS INITIATIVE IS DIFFERENT. AS WITH CAIS PRIOR CHALLENGES, TEAMS WILL ADVANCE PROMISING DE-RISKED INVENTIONS SELECTED WITH RIGOROUS DUE DILIGENCE BY POTENTIAL INVESTORS AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS. TEAMS WILL ALSO ENTER WITH THEIR OWN COMMERCIALLY VIABLE INVENTIONS. YET, FOR THE FIRST TIME, CAI INVITES ANYONE TO SUBMIT AN IDEA WITH THE POTENTIAL TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR BRAIN TUMOR PATIENTS. AN EXPERT JUDGING PANEL WILL SELECT A TOTAL OF 15 WINNERS FROM THE POOL OF TEAMS, ADVANCING PROMISING INVENTIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS WITH THE BEST IDEAS.


THE GLOBAL HEALTH INNOVATION CHALLENGE (GHIC) IS ORCHESTRATED BY THE CENTER FOR ADVANCING INNOVATION (CAI) WITH SUPPORT FROM RESONANCE PHILANTHROPIES OF THE SILICON VALLEY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AND THE UNITED STATES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION (EDA) BUILD TO SCALE (B2S) PROGRAM. AS WITH CAIS PRIOR CHALLENGES, TEAMS WILL ADVANCE PROMISING DE-RISKED INVENTIONS SELECTED WITH RIGOROUS DUE DILIGENCE BY POTENTIAL INVESTORS AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS. TEAMS MAY ALSO ENTER WITH THEIR OWN COMMERCIALLY VIABLE INVENTIONS. CAI INVITES ANYONE TO SUBMIT AN IDEA WITH THE POTENTIAL TO IMPROVE CHILDRENS MENTAL HEALTH AND PANDEMIC RESILIENCY.
