THE OBJECTIVE OF THE NORTHPORT COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER (ALSO KNOWN AS THE NORTHPORT PERFORMING ARTS CENTER) IS TO BRING TALENTED ARTISTS TO THE NORTHPORT COMMUNITY FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE AREA RESIDENTS AND VISITORS. RESUMING INDOOR EVENTS IN 2022, WE HOSTED 7 PERFORMANCES IN THE AUDITORIUM FOR APPROXIMATELY 1,400 PATRONS. THE AUDITORIUM IS ALSO USED BY THE NORTHPORT PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR VARIOUS PLAYS, CONCERTS AND ART PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.THE SUMMER OUTDOOR MUSIC IN THE PARK SERIES, HELD OUTDOORS ON FRIDAY EVENINGS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS, INCLUDED 11 CONCERTS THAT WERE HELD FROM LATE JUNE THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2ND. AN AVERAGE OF 1,200 PATRONS ATTENDED EACH CONCERT, FOR A TOTAL ATTENDANCE OF 13,200 PATRONS.
