EXPOSE FLINT AREA YOUTH AND ADULTS TO THE WEST AFRICAN ARTISTS AND CULTURAL TRADITIONS THROUGH FOLKLORE AND STORYTELLING THAT ENCOURAGE SELF AWARENESS AND EMPOWERMENT. PROMOTE POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT BY OFFERING COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS THAT STRENGTHENS THE COMMUNITY AND SELF-PRIDE PRESENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE YOUTH TO DEVELOP AND GROW INTO PRODUCTIVE ADULTS IN SOCIETY BY OFFERING MENTORING AND LIFE SKILLS CLASSES, HELPING THE YOUTH TO VISION A BETTER THEM. WE GENERATED A 30% INCREASE IN PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS FOR DRUM & DANCE CLASSES BY CIRCULATION ADVERTISEMENT THROUGHOUT THE SURROUNDING AREAS.
