THE HOLLAND TULIP TIME FESTIVAL, INC. IS A MICHIGAN NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WHICH PLANS AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL CENTERED AROUND DUTCH HERITAGE AND THE TULIP FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE HOLLAND, MICHIGAN AREA AND ITS CITIZENS. THE FESTIVAL CELEBRATES AND COMMEMORATES THE FOUNDING OF HOLLAND AS A COMMUNITY AND THE TULIP AS A CULTURAL ICON FOR THE AREA. THE FESTIVAL INCLUDES MUSICAL PRESENTATIONS, DUTCH DANCING, PARADES, AND OTHER EVENTS WHICH EDUCATE CITIZENS AND VISITORS ON DUTCH TRADITIONS AND OBSERVANCES.
