FUND RAISING EVENT WHICH FEATURES A NATIONALLY OR LOCALLY RECOGNIZED SPORTS FIGURE WHO SPEAKS OF HIS OR HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE SPORTING WORLD AND THE AFFECTS THOSE ACCOMPLISHMENTS HAVE HAD IN THEIR POST SPORTS LIFE. PROCEEDS FROM THE DINNER AND SILENT AUCTION PROVIDE THE FUNDING FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO "HAVEN" A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SAFE HOUSE.
