THE PURPOSE OF THIS FOUNDATION IS TO ADMINISTER FUNDS, RENT OR LEASE, MAINTAIN, AND HOLD LEGAL ASSETS TO BE USED FIRST, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE ORGANIZATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AND THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE ORGANIZATION AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY, AND SECOND, FOR MAKING GRANTS FOR STUDENTS AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL WHO ARE PRACTICING CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS.

EDUCATIONAL GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO CHRISTIAN SCIENCE STUDENTS IN ILLINOIS, INDIANA AND SURROUNDING STATES RANGING IN AMOUNT FROM $500 TO $12,000. NO GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO ANY FAMILY MEMBER OF A PAST OR PRESENT BOARD MEMBER.
